“We first met Rob Normann in 2009 when he came to bid on a large addition to our home. We had architectural drawings as the addition involved extension of the exterior with a second story, a roof re-alignment, and earthquake shear walls. Rob was the only contractor who presented his bid in detail with line items for estimated costs. We were impressed with his thoroughness, attention to detail and excellent references. Wow – what a right choice we made in choosing Rob for the job! Rob was a pleasure to work with. Coordination with inspectors, discussions with the architect, and management of all sub-contractors were all handled efficiently and timely by Rob. Every day Rob showed up with materials needed for that day. He worked diligently and cleaned up at the end of each day. There were cost overruns (we added things as we went along; so it was expected) – but the job went exceptionally well.

After that, we hired Rob Normann for a complete kitchen remodel and bathroom upgrade on that house. In 2019 we moved to an older home that needed several major upgrades. Once again we turned to Rob for assistance. Rob completed new plumbing lines with the addition of a tankless hot water heater, reworked the laundry area and added a new sink area, completely remodeled two bathrooms, upgraded our interior walls and fireplace, expanded the master bedroom and bath with the inclusion of a new walk-in closet, and completed a remodel of the kitchen which included moving a doorway and rewiring of the electrical sub panel. There were numerous decisions and coordination of obtaining materials required. Rob again was a pleasure to work with as we jointly designed this project.
